Privacy Notice
This Privacy Notice explains how KeepMyLinks ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use keepmylinks.com and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this notice.
1. Who we are
KeepMyLinks is a bookmarking and link-organisation product operated at https://keepmylinks.com. For privacy questions, contact us at support@keepmylinks.com.
2. Information we collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
- Account information — such as your name, email address, and profile details when you sign in (including via Google sign-in).
- Content you create — links, titles, notes, tags, boards, cards, and related metadata you save or organise in the Service.
- Billing information — payment and subscription details processed by our payment provider, Paddle. We do not store full payment card numbers on our servers. Paddle may collect billing name, address, and payment method details as Merchant of Record.
- Technical and usage data — such as IP address, browser type, device information, session identifiers, and approximate activity timestamps needed to operate and secure the Service.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate your account and keep it secure
- Sync your data across devices
- Process subscriptions, lifetime purchases, and invoices
- Respond to support requests and communicate service updates
- Detect, prevent, and investigate abuse or security issues
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your saved links or notes to serve third-party advertising.
4. Public sharing
Content is private by default. If you publish a board or card, the information you choose to make public may be visible to anyone with the link and may appear on Discover or similar surfaces. You control what you publish and can unpublish it later.
5. Sharing with service providers
We share information with trusted processors only as needed to run the Service, including:
- Paddle — payment processing, tax handling, and billing support as Merchant of Record
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — to store and deliver the Service
- Authentication providers — such as Google, when you choose to sign in with them
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of KeepMyLinks and our users.
6. Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, sessions, security, and core product functionality (for example, remembering your signed-in state and preferences). These are required for the Service to work as expected.
7. Data retention
We retain account and content data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain limited records after account closure where required for legal, tax, billing, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business purposes.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, including where our hosting or payment providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can export your links from the Service, and you can contact us at support@keepmylinks.com to make a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
11. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised notice.
